1. After your account is set up, you will be assigned a provider law firm to which you will have direct access.
2. When you have a legal matter to discuss, contact them in the way that’s easiest for you—phone, mobile app or web portal.
3. You can choose to have your provider lawyer call you within eight business hours or on a specific day and time.

A Legal Plan Gives You More Legal Assistance for a Much Lower Cost. Plan features include:

• Unlimited consultation. Your monthly enrollment fee gives you access to your dedicated law firm for consultation on an unlimited number of personal legal matters, including pre-existing issues. Get legal review on an unlimited number of personal documents up to 15 pages long.
• Useful Resources: Use online legal resources, including "DIY Docs" to create your own legally valid documents, then have your provider lawyer review for accuracy and compliance.

Legal Coverage: All consultations are covered 100% in-network. You may continue to use your provider lawyer for legal situations that extend beyond plan features. Additional services are 25% off the law firm's standard hourly rates. 

Legal insurance typically covers a variety of life events, including:

• Civil Damage Claims: Your law firm will provide a scheduled number of hours for representation as a respondent/defendant in a covered civil action.¹
• Traffic Matters:  Criminal defense for death-related traffic accidents, driver’s license reinstatement.²
• Family Law: Assistance with adoption, divorce, name change, separation or annulment (all uncontested).
• Financial Legal Matters: Your law firm will provide a scheduled number of hours for advice, consultation, negotiations, and representation if audited by the IRS for your personal tax return. They will also assist with residential loan documents (one per year).¹
• Wills & Estate Planning: Ensuring your wishes are carried out after death, including appointing guardians for children and distributing property.
